The bike’s consumer ratings are excellent. The bike met the consumer’s expectations and were satisfied with the great value for those consumers who purchased a Mongoose. People felt the performance of the bike was great for the value. The consumer ratings ranged from 3-5 stars. Most reviews stated the bike rides well and is comfortable.
So if you are just starting to ride bikes for the first time, please don't just jump on the bike a go for a 20 mile ride as it may do you more harm than good. Consider a set of sunglasses with interchangeable lenses so that you can change the lenses depending upon the weather or time of day for maximum contrast and protection from eye fatigue and strain.
