There are great trails suitable for mountain biking in every state so you'll surely be able to find many that are suitable whichever area you live in. This includes mountain trails but also a number of other pleasant terrains. For the adventurous types or people experienced in mountain biking there are numerous thrilling, beautiful and often rougher trails to follow.
All of the major athletes of the sport will tell you that mountain bike training is vastly important and you should take part in mountain bike fitness training when ever the opportunity arises. Going on those short rides will benefit you hugely and will stop you from injuring yourself.
