Of course, bicycles have always been ridden off road but the actual mountain biking sport began in the 1970s. Riders from Colorado and a couple of places in California claim to be the ones to give birth to the sport. While each group may have some validity to the claim, the bottom line is that many have contributed in the growth and development of the sport. Many people have designed bikes, built bikes and created equipment that has catapulted the sport to the popularity that it enjoys today.
Taller riders usually ride more "elegantly˝ than the low ones. Mountain bike riders with short legs and a solid upper body seem often clumsy. If you’re tall, I encourage you to choose the lightest frame as possible with a short suspension travel. As long as you are not overweight, let your hands and feet do most of the work, and enjoy a light and agile bike.
A typical mountain bike looks exactly the same with an ordinary mountain bike. However, they are more patent enabling them to fold in an easy and compact hand held size in just a matter of 30 seconds without using any kind of tools. When you decide to purchase this kind of bike, you become one of the many riders who enjoy taking their bikes into remote places where there is great adventure. It allows the riders who not really strong like the children and the women to be able to keep up with the other riders. It gives them more freedom to go on to greater heights without worrying about the obstacles that they would run into. When they are in the rough road, they can simply folds the bike and continue with their journey.
